May Sales & Newsletter

Hi all!

May is here! The sun has finally returned, the grass is green once again, and trees are budding! This is truly an excellent time to be in the North Country.

We at the Co-Op are gearing up for the different excitements that spring and summer bring. Let’s get into it.

Operations

We just had our Annual Member Meeting on Sunday, April 26th. Thank you to everyone who participated! For those who couldn’t attend, I’ll sum it up: things are tough right now, as they are for many in our community. But working hard and working together is the way! We all play an essential role in the cooperative–so if you have skills/expertise you want to share, please reach out!

Do you have chickens? Are they laying like there’s no tomorrow? Bring your eggs to the Co-Op–we buy local eggs! Please call first to check availability.

Sales Highlights

Greek Gods yogurts are on sale for $4.29. If you haven’t had the Honey flavor yet, it’s worth a try!

Nielsen’s lime juice concentrate is on sale, 2/$5. I’m not saying you have to make margaritas. I’m just saying you could save money making margaritas this month. Do what you will.

Coffee of the Month is Full Moon from Dean’s Beans. A medium dark roast fitting for a month with two full moons!

Cheese of the Month is Nettle Blend Gouda. Herbaceous and creamy!

Plants will be on sale starting in May! Keep an eye out for greens, tomatoes, squash, and more.

“All things seem possible in May.”
